Fact-Simile Editions is pleased to announce #15 in our Poetry Trading Card Series: Rachel Blau DuPlessis!
Rachel Blau DuPlessis is a poet, educator and feminist literary critic living in the Greater Philadelphia area and teaching at Temple University. She is the author of numerous works of criticism as well as the "life poem" Drafts.
We are honored that Ms. Blau DuPlessis has chosen to share this excerpt from Drafts with us and hope that you will join us in celebrating the work of this wonderful poet. This limited-edition poetic collectible is available for just 99 cents (plus shipping) on our website.
If you haven’t done so already, take a moment to look through the great lineup of poets we’ve featured over the past 15 months. Subscribe today to receive a new trading card in the mail each month during 2011. And, of course, 2010 cards are still available individually or as a complete set.
Best Regards,
Travis Macdonald & JenMarie Davis

Calling All Submissions
Dear Friends and Readers-
We know you're out there. Somewhere. It's that time of year: Canadian bears are honking their way north again and grizzly geese are stumbling around the woods hibernation-drunk. That's right. The Vernal Equinox is almost upon us and that means Fact-Simile's Spring/Summer 2011 issue is accepting submission for a few more days.
Seven of them to be exact. Any submissions received before (or on) Monday, March 21 will be considered for this issue. Any submissions received after Monday will be considered for the Fall/Autumn 2011 issue.
So if you have some superb writing and/or word-work that you think might be a good fit, please send it along to:
submissions@fact-simile.com
If you've sent some poetry and/or prose along already and haven't heard back yet, please bear with us. It is still under careful consideration. If you're not familiar with Fact-Simile's most recent issues, you can read them all right here.
Also, keep an eye out for the opening submission call for our 2011 Equinox Chapbook contest. Details to be announced next Monday. In the meantime, we look forward to reading your work!
Best Regards,
Travis Macdonald & JenMarie Davis
