Lewis Warsh Poetry Trading Card
Not that any of us really need a reason to celebrate the work of one of contemporary poetry's most legendary voices. Co-founder (with Anne Waldman) of Angel Hair Magazine  and co-editor (with Bernadette Mayer) of United Artists Magazine and Books, Warsh is the author of over twenty-five books of poetry, fiction and autobiography.

Ready to join in the festivities of Lewis Warsh Appreciation Month? Here's what you do:

Every Fact-Simile Poetry Trading Card is printed on recycled paper and available for just 99 cents on our website. Subscriptions to the entire 2012 series are available at a discount and, as always, our 2010 and 2011 Poetry Trading Cards are still available individually or as a complete set.

Repo In A (The Musical)

Back in 2008, we here at Fact-Simile Editions published The O Mission Repo [vol. 1]. This long erasure poem takes the first four chapters of The 9/11 Commission Report and processes them through various gestures of elimination and palimpsest. The final chapter of this book, titled "Repo In A" presents what text remains post-erasure over a series of musical staffs.
Nearly four years after the original publication of this text (and on the 100th anniversary of John Cage's birth) we are happy to announce that this appropriative gesture has been translated into music.
