C.S. Giscombe Poetry Trading Cards
We know your inbox is probably inundated with holiday-themed emails and last minute gift ideas right about now. We don't want to add to all that noise, so we'll just say it plain and simple: C.S. Giscombe Poetry Trading Cards. Yep.
C.S. Giscombe has worked as a taxi driver, a hospital orderly, a railroad brakeman, a teacher and, perhaps most importantly, a poet. He is the author of Prairie Style (Dalkey Archive) which won a 2008 American Book award, Into and Out of Dislocation (Farrar, Straus & Giroux) and Giscome Road (Dalkey Archive) among others.
Patterned after a 1993 Topps baseball card design, C.S. Giscombe's poetry trading card features a new poem titled "Plague" on the reverse side.
Fact-Simile Poetry Trading Cards are printed on recycled cardboard and available for just 99 cents on our website. Subscriptions to next year's 2014 Poetry Trading Card Series are now available at a discount. Plus, all 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Poetry Trading Cards are still available individually or as complete sets.
