Paul Hoover Poetry Trading Cards Are In

It's the 12th inning and Paul Hoover is closing out the 2012 Poetry Trading Card season!

Paul Hoover is the author of more than 20 books of poetry, essays and translations, including desolation : souvenir (Omnidawn 2012), Beyond the Court Gate: Selected Poems of Nguyen Trai (Counterpath 2010) and Sonnet 56 (Les Figues 2009). He is the editor, along with Maxine Chernoff, of New American Writing and professor of creative writing at San Francisco State University.

His poetry trading card, patterned after a 1957 Topps baseball card design, features a photo by Sumit Bando and a new poem, "The Dog was Pleasant and the Cat was Firm".
